12 Money Saving Beauty Regimen Tips

Having a beauty regimen doesn’t have to be expensive. There are things you can do to avoid spending lots of money.

Don’t spend money on pricey store-bought scrubs. Mix brown sugar and honey into a paste to buff your body smooth.

An apple-cider vinegar rinse works like clarifying shampoo and leaves your hair with great shine.

When you get to the bottom of your scent and it won’t spray, pour it into your body wash or unscented moisturizer to get more use of it.

Always exfoliate before using a self tanner. Getting rid of dead skin ensures the tanning solution is absorbed by soft skin underneath.

Use self tanners like the ones above instead of going into the salon and using a tanning bed. This is costly and not good for your skin.

For the simplest body scrub of all, massage sea salt onto damp skin and shower off.

Organic, unsweetened, unflavored yogurt makes an effective moisturizer! Just apply, let it dry, and rinse off.

Sleeping with makeup on can irritate skin and cause breakouts. If you’re really tired, keep a package of skin-cleansing wipes by your bed.

Add concealer only where you need it most (under eyes, around nose) and set with translucent powder.

During the summer it is even more important to wear chapstick or lip gloss with SPF.

For fuller lips, extend the lip line using a flesh tone lip liner. Be careful not to go overboard!
